Chris Klug - Aspen Square's Olympic Hero

HE DID IT AGAIN! Chris Klug is Aspen Square's own Olympic Snowboard Racer, and he won the US National Championship again this winter of 2008-2009.
Chris brought home the Bronze Medal in the Winter Olympics of 2002. We are proud of him!

Yes, he is the son of General Manager Warren Klug. Last year in February, Chris raced in the Winter Olympics at Park City and he took the Bronze Medal in the parallel giant slalom event.

We are proud of Aspen Square's own Chris Klug, a fine athlete, an outstanding young man, a fast racer, an Olympic Team Member and now a Bronze Medal winner! Chris has been competing on the professional World Cup tour for several years, and he wins races! Last year he had several "podium finishes" on the World Cup circuit, and he finished the race season by winning the National Championship last spring.

Chris competed in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan and he is proud and honored to represent the United States again when the Olympics come to Salt Lake City in 2002 His goal is to return to the Olympics in 2010 held in Vancouver, BC in February.

Chris continues to race, this season participating in World Cup events in the US and Canada, throughout Europe and even in Japan. The 2008-2009 winter season was another good one for Chris, preparing him for the next winter ahead.
